The RICS Home Survey Standard was due to become a requirement for RICS regulated firms as of June 2020 given the issues surrounding the “COVID-19” outbreak the decision has been made to postpone this until the 1st December 2020 more details can be read here.

At Home Heroes Limited we are still busy working on our New Surveys which will be in line with the Survey Standard but will move away from the RICS Survey format to our own propitiatory format, we are still aiming to have these in place by June 2020 and will dry run them until the 1st December start date and they will be adapted as additional information is released from the Survey Standard Tool Kit.
