RICS Condition Report
Home Survey Standards – This service is delivered in accordance with the Home survey standard (1st edition) RICS professional statement and is equivalent to Level 1. We use our own custom templates for this now due to the standardisation and a copy is available on request we no longer use RICS or SAVA forms
The RICS Condition Report was first launched in 2011. It uses a traffic light system to identify any defects, but beyond that, it is fairly limited
The RICS Condition Report is a basic level survey report that gives you an overview to help you understand the construction of the property you are purchasing it is a Level 1 Survey and is the cheapest in the RICS suite of surveys. It is the bridge between your mortgage companies valuation and the RICS HomeBuyer Report

They are not suitable for older homes, unusual construction methods or materials, or providing detailed information about known defects or potential remedies.
